Well, myself and Stephanie of Binkypops Sugar Shop turned up to a stunning 18th century house, The Chapel @ West End, Mortimer. There we set up our stalls in the Mustard Room and went about welcoming visitor after visitor. It was a busy day, lots of inquisitive customers and positive comments about what we create in our spare time. When we weren’t chatting away we were busy eating cake, important fuel food when dealing with crafts.
Shaz (Oddsox) and Linzi (Vintage Jelly) from the Newbury Knitting Group were also there. Shaz with her unbelievably brilliant sock creatures including some owls, I had to purchase a badge for my collection and Linzi with her vintage fabrics cleverly transformed into cushions and bunting, gorgeous. I particularly liked the use of vintage napkins and the fact she had used her mum’s old trousers to create some bunting for her wedding! If you get a chance check out their shops and blogs....

It was such a good day, I left feeling positive about my work and ready to create some more. Hopefully they will be having another craft fair in June, until then I will have to get making some new crazy head pieces to keep them all entertained ( if I can find the time in between all the orders I seem to be getting).
